Core Padel is founded by the team behind Leamington Health Club. Our goal is to create a community where you can play padel, get fit, socialise and have fun.

Paul Berry
Paul is an LTA accredited Level 2 Padel Instructor and PadelMBA coach.
Passionate about the sport, Paul specialises in coaching all levels and focuses on technical development and tactical gameplay.
He has successfully guided numerous players to enhance their skills and achieve their goals, emphasising both enjoyment and understanding of the game.
With a strong focus on individual player needs, he fosters a positive and motivating environment, ensuring each session is both productive, fun and engaging.

James Taylor
With over 3 years of experience on the Padel court, James Taylor is a LTA Level 2 certified Padel coach and Advanced player.
He plays for the Staffordshire County Team and regularly attends LTA Grade 3 competitions.
Driven by passion and professionalism, James is known for transforming players of all levels and age ranges into confident, strategic, and technically sound players.
James focuses heavily on technical development, as well as tactical awareness, court positioning, and footwork.
His training sessions are engaging, high-energy, and tailored to each player’s goals – whether that means mastering the basics or competing at a national level.
He is highly committed to growing the sport and helping each player reach their full potential, whilst also having plenty of fun!

Coming from Madrid, padel has been in Enrique’s life for around 18 years, he’s been competing since he was 12 and even played the junior world championships in 2017.
In 2025 he peaked at rank 9 in the UK rankings, after winning grade 2 tournaments and reaching semi finals in grade 1s. He was also recognised by Warwickshire LTA with the award for best adult padel player of the year.
He’s focused on helping players improve, enjoy the game more and build confidence on court. His coaching style is practical, positive, and adapted to each player even if you are just starting out or looking to level up your technique, tactics and matchplay.
Believing padel should be fun, dynamic and challenging and my goal is to help you while enjoying every session.

How do you play padel?
The Basics:
Serve: Underarm, below waist height, with at least one bounce behind the service line.
Scoring: Same as tennis -first to 6 games wins a set.
The Walls: Balls can rebound off the walls, making rallies longer and more tactical.
Equipment: All you need is a padel racket and balls -available to hire or buy at Core Padel.
Perfect for all ages and skill levels, padel is a social game that blends fitness, fun, and friendly competition.

How do I book?

What's the cancellation policy?
You can cancel at least 24 hours before your match through the app for a full refund.
